After graduating a double diploma of Magistère in Economics and a Master’s degree in Banking and International Finance from the University of Bordeaux, Arthur went on to complete an advanced Master in Finance in the prestigious ESSEC Business School. Arthur Maxwell started his career in Corporate Finance in 2010, initially as a M&A financial analyst for Société Générale CIB and DC Advisory in Paris. In 2013, he joined Deloitte Transaction services in Bordeaux for 5 years and then in Perth (Australia) for 2 years. At Deloitte, Arthur managed over 10 transactions in the wine and spirit sector: classified growths, high end properties, as well as Cognac Houses or wine merchant firms. Amongst others, he was notably involved in the transaction of the iconic Petrus in 2017.

In 2020, Arthur joined Maxwell-Baynes as Financial Manager and Vineyard transaction specialist where he uses his network and deep industry knowledge of business accounts, modelling, due diligence expertise and market analysis to underwrite his negotiating skills in the complex world of vineyard mergers and acquisitions.
